Check every campaign scheduled this week before it sends

Every Monday, WebRun opens Braze, lists the campaigns and Canvases scheduled to send in the coming week, records the segment, audience size, subscription group, and template behind each, posts the pre-flight list to Slack, and drafts a Gmail note flagging any send with an empty, oversized, or suddenly changed audience.

In short

How do I review Braze campaigns scheduled this week before they send?

Every Monday WebRun opens Braze, lists the campaigns and Canvases scheduled for the coming week, and reads the segment, audience size, subscription group, and template behind each. It posts the pre-flight list to Slack and drafts a Gmail note on any empty or oversized audience, so problems are caught before anything sends.

  • Empty and oversized audiences are caught before send day
  • Every queued send is listed with its segment and size
  • No campaign is paused, edited, or launched without a human

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens dashboard.braze.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Braze - review the week's scheduled sends
    braze.com
WebRun in Braze: review the week's scheduled sends
WebRun opens Braze to review the week's scheduled sends.
    • Open the Braze dashboard and list campaigns and Canvases scheduled for the next seven days
    • For each, read the target segment and the current audience size
    • Note the subscription group and the email template attached
    • Compare the audience size against the last time that campaign ran
    • Flag sends with an empty audience, an unusually large one, or a missing template
    • Schedule, launch, and pause nothing. WebRun reviews and never changes a send

Done when Every send queued for the coming week is listed with its segment, size, and template.

  3. 2
Slack - post the pre-flight list
    slack.com How to Automate Slack

WebRun opens Slack to post the pre-flight list.
    • Post the week's sends in send-date order
    • Put the segment name and audience size next to each
    • Mark the flagged ones clearly at the top of the message
    • Show the change in audience size against the previous run of the same campaign

Done when The lifecycle channel has the week's pre-flight list with flags at the top.

  4. 3
Gmail - draft the flag note for review
    gmail.com How to Automate Gmail
WebRun in Gmail: draft the flag note for review
WebRun opens Gmail to draft the flag note for review.
    • Write a short note covering only the flagged sends and why each was flagged
    • Include the send date so the deadline to fix it is obvious
    • Address it to the campaign owner and save it as a draft
    • Send nothing on its own. The marketer reviews and sends it

Done when A drafted note on the flagged sends is waiting in Gmail, or nothing was flagged.

Questions, answered

Will it pause or edit a campaign it flags?

No. WebRun only reads the queue and reports. Pausing a send, fixing a segment, or swapping a template stays with the campaign owner, and the note about flagged sends is left as a Gmail draft to approve.

What gets flagged?

Sends with an empty audience, an audience far larger than the last run of the same campaign, a missing template, or no subscription group set. Each flag shows the number that triggered it, so you can judge it in seconds.

Does it cover Canvases as well as campaigns?

Yes. Both are listed together in send-date order, because a Canvas step firing to the wrong segment costs exactly as much as a campaign doing it.
