Hand off Terraform plans waiting on your approval
Every few minutes, WebRun checks Spacelift for runs sitting in the needs-approval state, posts the plan summary and affected resources to Microsoft Teams, and creates a Trello card assigned to the approver, so every infrastructure change gets a clear handoff and always waits for a human to approve the apply.

How do I make sure pending Spacelift plans get a fast, clear approval handoff?
WebRun checks Spacelift every few minutes for runs waiting on approval, posting the plan summary and affected resources to Microsoft Teams and creating a Trello card assigned to the approver. WebRun never approves or applies the plan itself, since that always requires a human decision. It only makes sure the pending change is handed off clearly and quickly.
- Pending plans get handed off within minutes instead of sitting unnoticed
- Every infrastructure change still requires an explicit human approval
- Approvers see the plan summary without hunting through Spacelift

Questions, answered
Will WebRun approve or apply the Terraform plan itself?
No, and it never will. Approving and applying an infrastructure change is exactly the kind of irreversible action that always needs a human decision, so WebRun only surfaces the plan and hands it off in Spacelift for a person to approve.
How is the approver chosen?
From whoever is already assigned as approver on the stack in Spacelift, so the handoff goes to the right person automatically.
Does it create a new card if the run is already being tracked?
No. If a card already exists and is still open for that run, WebRun will not create a duplicate.
