In short

How do I get real-time alerts when LTL shipments are delayed or have transit exceptions?

WebRun queries SMC3 every hour to detect LTL shipments that have fallen behind their published transit commitment, posts a real-time delay exception alert to your operations Slack channel for every flagged shipment, and sends an SMS via Twilio to the account manager for any delay rated critical so the right person is notified within the hour and can act before the customer calls.

  • Every transit exception is surfaced in Slack within the hour it is detected
  • Account managers get an SMS for critical delays before the customer calls
  • Operations team can act on delay information while the shipment is still in transit

Questions, answered

Will it notify the customer automatically when a shipment is late?

No. WebRun alerts your internal team in Slack and the assigned account manager via SMS. Any outreach to the customer is handled by the account manager after reviewing the situation.

How does it decide when a shipment is late?

It compares the current status against the transit time standard in SMC3, which carries carrier-published delivery commitments for each origin-destination lane.

Can I suppress alerts for shipments I already know about?

Yes. You can mark a shipment as acknowledged in the ops log and WebRun will skip it on future runs until the status changes again.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
