In short

How do I track work-in-process aging across my open jobs?

Every Monday, WebRun opens JobBOSS, lists every job still in work in process with its age and dollars committed, and cross-checks the total against the work-in-process balance posted in QuickBooks. It logs a ranked aging report to a Google Sheet with the oldest and largest jobs first, so nothing sits unnoticed.

  • Aging WIP jobs surface every Monday instead of at month end
  • JobBOSS and QuickBooks WIP totals get cross-checked automatically
  • Oldest and largest jobs are ranked first so you act on real risk

Questions, answered

Does it change anything in JobBOSS or QuickBooks?

No. WebRun only reads job data from JobBOSS and the WIP balance from QuickBooks. It never edits a job, posts a journal entry, or changes an account on its own.

How are the aging buckets decided?

By each job's days open since it started: 0 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 90, and over 90 days, calculated fresh from JobBOSS every Monday.

What if JobBOSS and QuickBooks don't match?

The report notes the gap so your accountant can review it. WebRun flags the mismatch, it does not try to correct either system.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
