Turn new audit findings into tracked remediation work

Every morning, WebRun signs into AuditBoard, finds issues and findings raised or updated since the last run, records each one in a Notion remediation register with its owner, severity, and due date, then opens or updates a Trello card on the remediation board so the fix is tracked where the work actually happens.

In short

How do I track audit findings through to remediation?

WebRun reads AuditBoard every morning for issues and findings raised or changed since the last run. It records each one in a Notion remediation register with severity, owner, and target date, then opens or updates a Trello card on the remediation board, so audit findings become tracked work instead of a list.

  • Findings become tracked cards the morning they are raised
  • The Notion register stays in step with AuditBoard without manual copying
  • Owners see remediation work on the board they already use

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens www.auditboard.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
AuditBoard - find new and updated findings
    auditboard.com
WebRun in AuditBoard: find new and updated findings
WebRun opens AuditBoard to find new and updated findings.
    • Sign into AuditBoard and open your issues and findings list
    • Capture every item raised or changed since the last run with its title, severity, owner, and target date
    • Note the related control or audit so the register keeps the context

Done when Every new or changed finding is captured with its owner and severity.

  3. 2
Notion - record them in the register
    notion.so How to Automate Notion
WebRun in Notion: record them in the register
WebRun opens Notion to record them in the register.
    • Open your remediation register database and add a page per new finding
    • Fill in severity, owner, target date, related control, and a one-line description
    • Update the status field on existing pages where the finding changed in AuditBoard

Done when The Notion register matches AuditBoard for every open finding.

  4. 3
Trello - open a card for the owner
    trello.com How to Automate Trello
WebRun in Trello: open a card for the owner
WebRun opens Trello to open a card for the owner.
    • Open the remediation board and create a card for each finding that has no card yet
    • Set the due date to the target date and put the card in the list matching its severity
    • Add the Notion register link in the card description and skip anything already closed

Done when Every open finding has a Trello card with a due date and an owner.

Questions, answered

Will it change anything inside AuditBoard?

No. WebRun reads AuditBoard and writes only to Notion and Trello. It never edits a finding, closes an issue, or signs off a control in your audit system of record.

Does it notify the owners directly?

It assigns the Trello card and records the owner in Notion, which is internal tracking only. It never emails or messages an owner, so any external chase stays a human decision.

What stops duplicate cards?

It matches on the AuditBoard finding reference before creating anything, so a finding that already has a Trello card gets the card updated instead of a second one opened.

Put this on autopilot.
