Catch broken Zaps before anyone notices

Every morning, WebRun opens Zapier, reads the Zap history for errored and held runs, checks which Zaps have turned themselves off, opens a Trello card per broken automation with the error text, and sends you a short WhatsApp note when something business-critical has stopped.

In short

How do I get alerted when one of my Zaps stops working?

WebRun checks Zapier every morning for errored runs and Zaps that have switched themselves off. It opens one Trello card per broken automation carrying the failing step and the error text, then sends a short WhatsApp note when a business-critical Zap is down, so a silent failure never runs for days unnoticed.

  • Broken Zaps are found the next morning instead of weeks later
  • Every failure lands as a tracked Trello card with its error text
  • Quiet mornings stay quiet, so a ping always means action is needed

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens zapier.com/app/login in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1

    • Capture the Zap name, the failing step, and the error message shown
    • Check the Zaps list for any automation that is now switched off and note when it stopped
    • Group repeated failures of the same Zap into one entry with a run count

Done when Every errored run and switched-off Zap from the last day is listed with its error text.

    • Paste the error message, the run count, and the time it first failed into the card description
    • Add a comment to the existing card instead of duplicating it when that Zap is already on the board

Done when Every broken Zap has exactly one open Trello card carrying its error detail.

  4. 3
WhatsApp - ping you about critical breaks

WebRun in WhatsApp: ping you about critical breaks
WebRun opens WhatsApp to ping you about critical breaks.
    • Send your internal ops group a short message listing the broken Zaps
    • Put any Zap you marked as business-critical first, with how long it has been down
    • Link the Trello card for each one and keep the message to a few lines
    • Stay quiet on mornings when nothing has failed

Done when You have this morning's break list on WhatsApp, or nothing was sent because nothing broke.

Questions, answered

Will it turn Zaps back on or replay failed runs by itself?

No. WebRun only reads Zap history and reports what it found. Turning a Zap back on or replaying a held run stays a human decision, made from the Trello card.

Will it message me every single morning?

Only when something is actually broken. A clean morning produces no WhatsApp message, so a ping always means there is something to look at.

How does it know which Zaps are critical?

You tag the Zaps that matter most when you set it up, and those are listed first with their downtime. Everything else is still carded in Trello but reported below them.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
