Remind clients of quarterly estimates

Before each quarterly 1040-ES due date, WebRun reads your Google Sheets list of clients who make estimated tax payments, drafts a concise reminder email in Gmail for each one with the payment amount and due date, and posts the drafts to Slack so the preparer can review and send them with a single approval.

In short

How do I automatically remind clients about quarterly estimated tax payments?

WebRun reads your Google Sheets estimated tax client list before each quarterly due date, drafts a personalized reminder email in Gmail for every client with a payment due, and posts the drafts to Slack so the preparer can review and send them. All four 1040-ES quarters are covered and no client is emailed without approval.

  • Every client due for a quarterly payment gets a personalized draft reminder two weeks before the due date
  • Preparers review one Slack digest instead of tracking four quarterly deadlines manually
  • Clients avoid underpayment penalties because reminders arrive with time to act

Questions, answered

Will it send reminder emails to clients automatically?

No. WebRun drafts each quarterly reminder in Gmail and leaves it unsent. The preparer reviews the Slack digest and sends the drafts at their discretion. No client receives an email without the preparer's approval.

How does it know each client's estimated payment amount?

It reads the payment amounts from your Google Sheets client list, which your firm maintains based on prior-year liability and current-year projections. You update the sheet once per client and WebRun uses those figures each quarter.

Which quarterly due dates does it cover?

It covers all four standard 1040-ES due dates: April 15, June 15, September 15, and January 15. WebRun activates the reminder workflow in the two weeks before each date and pauses between quarters to avoid sending premature or duplicate reminders.
