Reconcile talent payouts before payday

Every Monday, WebRun opens Syngency, calculates what each talent is owed for last week's completed bookings after agency commission, compares that figure to what Xero shows as actually paid out, flags any mismatch by amount and talent, and posts the full reconciliation to your finance lead in Telegram.

In short

How do I reconcile talent payouts against what was actually paid?

Every Monday, WebRun calculates what each talent is owed for last week's completed bookings in Syngency, after agency commission, then compares that to what Xero shows as actually paid. It flags any mismatch by talent and amount and posts the reconciliation to your finance lead in Telegram, so a payout error gets caught that week, not months later.

  • Payout mismatches get caught the week they happen, not at audit time
  • Finance leads get every discrepancy flagged with the exact amount
  • No payout is ever sent or approved automatically

Questions, answered

Will it pay talent or move any money?

No. WebRun only compares what is owed to what Xero shows as paid and flags mismatches. Approving and sending any payout stays a manual action in Xero.

How is the payout amount calculated?

It takes each completed booking's fee in Syngency and subtracts your agency's commission rate, so the expected payout matches your standard terms.

What counts as a mismatch?

Any talent whose expected payout from Syngency does not match the amount Xero shows as paid for the same period, whether that is a shortfall, an overpayment, or a missing payment entirely.

Put this on autopilot.
