Spot delinquent plan contribution risks before they become problems

Every Monday, WebRun opens PensionPro, reviews contribution deposit tracking for each active plan, and cross-checks the plan year timeline in ftwilliam.com to identify plans where contributions appear late or unconfirmed. It builds a prioritized worklist and, for the most time-sensitive cases, sends your TPA compliance officer an SMS alert via Twilio.

In short

How can I automatically identify retirement plans at risk of a delinquent contribution?

WebRun opens PensionPro every Monday, reviews contribution deposit status for all active plans, and cross-checks plan year context in ftwilliam.com to rate each flagged plan as standard or elevated risk. Elevated-risk plans trigger an internal SMS to your compliance officer via Twilio, while the full delinquency worklist lets your team prioritize follow-up before a DOL issue arises.

  • Late or unconfirmed contributions flagged every Monday before they escalate
  • Elevated-risk plans (safe harbor or near year-end) trigger immediate SMS to your compliance officer
  • Worklist prioritized so your team acts on the highest-risk plans first

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it contact the plan sponsor directly about a late contribution?

No. The SMS via Twilio goes to your internal compliance officer, not the plan sponsor. Any outreach to sponsors is handled by your staff after reviewing the worklist.

What makes a plan qualify as elevated risk?

Plans with a safe harbor design or those within 60 days of their plan year-end are rated elevated risk because late contributions carry stricter DOL correction requirements in those situations.

How does it know a contribution is late?

It reads the contribution deposit notes and status fields in PensionPro. If those fields show overdue or unconfirmed, the plan is flagged. For best results, keep PensionPro contribution notes current.
