Keep your Discogs listings in sync with the shop floor
Every morning, WebRun opens Common Ground, reads the current stock and prices for records that are also listed on Discogs, compares them against your live Discogs Marketplace listings, and posts your team a Slack list of listings that are oversold, mispriced, or out of stock so the two channels never drift apart.

How do I keep my Discogs listings in sync with in-store stock automatically?
WebRun reconciles your Discogs Marketplace against your shop floor every morning. It reads live stock and prices in Common Ground, compares them to your active Discogs listings by catalog number, and posts your team a Slack list of oversold, mispriced, and out-of-stock listings, so the two channels stay in sync and double sales are caught early.
- Oversold Discogs listings are caught before a second buyer pays
- Store and marketplace prices stay aligned without manual checking
- Every drift between channels surfaces in one daily Slack list

1
Common Ground - read shop-floor stock and prices
WebRun reads current stock and prices from Common Ground. - Open Common Ground and go to the inventory list
- Capture the current quantity on hand and price for each release that is also listed on Discogs
- Note any title that has hit zero stock since the last run
Done when Every Discogs-listed release has its live Common Ground quantity and price captured.
-
2
Discogs - compare against live marketplace listings
WebRun compares each Discogs listing against the shop-floor stock. - Open your Discogs Marketplace inventory and read each active listing's quantity and price
- Match every listing to its Common Ground release by catalog number and pressing
- Flag listings that are still live but sold out in store, and listings whose price no longer matches
Done when Every active Discogs listing is compared against its Common Ground counterpart.
-
3
Slack - report listings to pull or re-price
WebRun posts a grouped list of listings to pull or re-price. - Post a reconciliation list to your shop Slack channel
- Group it into sold out but still listed, price mismatch, and quantity mismatch
- Put oversold titles first so staff can pull them before a double sale happens
- Keep the list internal. WebRun does not edit or delist anything on Discogs on its own.
Done when Your team has today's Discogs reconciliation list in Slack.

Questions, answered
Will it delist or edit my Discogs listings for me?
No. WebRun only posts an internal Slack list of what drifted. Pulling or re-pricing a Discogs listing is left to a person, so nothing changes on your marketplace without you deciding to.
How does it match a Discogs listing to a shop record?
It matches on catalog number and pressing details so the same release lines up across both. Anything it cannot confidently match is listed separately for you to reconcile by hand.
What if a title sold on Discogs, not in the store?
It reads live quantities on both sides each morning, so a Discogs sale that has already reduced stock in Common Ground simply shows as in sync and does not appear on the pull list.
