Route the survey answers that need a human reply
As each QuestionPro response comes in, WebRun opens the response, reads every open-ended answer, decides whether it is a complaint, a request, or praise worth a reply, drafts a response in Gmail for you to approve, and posts the flagged verbatim to Slack with the respondent's details.

How do I follow up on open-ended survey answers automatically?
WebRun reads every new QuestionPro response as it lands, works through the open-ended answers, and flags the ones that need a person: complaints, requests, and bug reports. It drafts a reply in Gmail for approval and posts the verbatim to Slack with the respondent's details, so nothing sits unanswered.
- Complaints get a human reply while the answer is still fresh
- Every verbatim worth acting on reaches the team in Slack
- Reply drafts wait for approval, so nothing is sent unreviewed

1
QuestionPro - read the open-ended answers
WebRun opens QuestionPro to read the open-ended answers. - Open the new QuestionPro response as it lands
- Read each open-ended answer alongside the question text it belongs to
- Decide whether it needs follow-up: a complaint, a direct request, a bug report, or a testimonial worth using
- Capture the respondent's contact details where the survey collected them
Done when The response is classified and any answer needing follow-up is captured with its question.
-
2
Gmail - draft the follow-up reply
WebRun opens Gmail to draft the follow-up reply. - Draft a short reply to the respondent that answers what they actually wrote
- Quote their own words back so the reply does not read like a form letter
- Leave the message as a draft for a human to review and send
- Never email a respondent automatically
Done when A reply draft is waiting in Gmail for every flagged response.
-
3
Slack - post the flagged verbatim
WebRun opens Slack to post the flagged verbatim. - Post the flagged verbatim answer to your research or CX channel
- Include the survey name, the question it answered, and the reason it was flagged
- Link the waiting Gmail draft so someone can review and send it
- Stay quiet on responses with nothing that needs a reply
Done when Every flagged answer is in Slack with its context and a draft ready to send.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it reply to respondents on its own?
No. WebRun writes the reply as a Gmail draft and posts the Slack alert, then stops. A person reads the draft and presses send, so no respondent hears from you unreviewed.
How does it decide an answer needs follow-up?
It reads what the answer actually says against the question it responded to, and flags complaints, direct requests, bug reports, and strong praise. Neutral ratings and blank answers are skipped.
What if the survey was anonymous?
The verbatim still reaches Slack with its question and survey name so you can act on the theme. No reply draft is written, because there is nobody to reply to.
