No. It drafts the delivery email in Gmail and waits for you. Nothing reaches a client until you review and send it yourself.
What if the gallery folder isn't shared yet?
It checks the Google Drive folder's sharing setting first, and skips drafting an email until the link is confirmed live, so you never send a broken link.
Can it tell if a gallery was already delivered?
Yes. It only drafts once per job stage change, so a gallery you already sent will not generate a repeat draft the next morning.
