Will it change prices in Square automatically?
No. WebRun drafts a suggested markdown in Google Sheets and flags it in Slack, but no price is changed in Square until a staff member reviews and applies the discount manually. You stay in control of every pricing decision.
How does it know what counts as near expiry?
It flags items whose best-by date falls within the window you set during setup, defaulting to 14 days. Adjust the window at any time and WebRun applies the new threshold on its next morning run.
What if the same item appears day after day?
Items already logged and marked as Draft in the sheet are not duplicated. If the status is updated to Actioned or Sold, the item is excluded from future alerts for that batch.
