Get patient estimates ready to send before the visit

Every morning, WebRun opens Experian Health, generates a patient responsibility estimate for each upcoming self-pay or high-deductible patient, drafts the estimate email in Outlook with the amount and payment options, and prepares a DocuSign envelope for the financial responsibility acknowledgment, leaving every draft and envelope unsent for your financial counselor to review before it reaches the patient.

In short

How do I get patient estimates ready to send before a scheduled visit?

WebRun opens Experian Health every morning and generates a patient responsibility estimate for each upcoming self-pay or high-deductible patient. It drafts the estimate email in Outlook and prepares a DocuSign acknowledgment envelope for each one, leaving both unsent so your financial counselor reviews and sends the exact amount before the patient's visit.

  • Patient estimates are drafted before the visit instead of built on the spot
  • Financial counselors review one email and one envelope per patient, not raw data
  • Larger balances are flagged so the biggest estimates get checked first

Questions, answered

Will WebRun send the estimate to the patient automatically?

No. It only drafts the email in Outlook and prepares the DocuSign envelope. Your financial counselor reviews and sends both, since this is a direct financial communication to the patient.

How is the estimate amount calculated?

It comes from Experian Health's own estimate engine, which uses the scheduled procedure and the patient's benefits on file. WebRun reads that result rather than calculating it independently.

What happens to estimates above a certain amount?

They are flagged in the draft so your counselor reviews the largest balances first, though every draft still waits for review regardless of amount.
