In short

How do I automatically track and prioritize rejected insurance claims in an optometry practice?

WebRun opens Eyefinity every morning and pulls every vision and medical claim rejected or denied since the previous day. It builds a Google Sheet worklist grouped by rejection reason and sorted by filing deadline, then posts a Slack summary so your billing team starts the day with a clear, prioritized action list.

  • Billing team starts each day with a sorted, reason-grouped rejection list, not a raw queue
  • Claims near their filing deadline are flagged before they become write-offs
  • No claim is resubmitted without a staff member taking the action

Questions, answered

Does it resubmit any claims automatically?

No. This workflow builds an internal worklist only. No claim is resubmitted or modified without a billing team member taking the action manually. The worklist is purely for visibility and prioritization.

How does it prioritize which claims to work first?

Claims are sorted by filing deadline, with the most time-sensitive at the top. Claims within 14 days of their deadline are also called out in the Slack alert.

Can it cover both vision-plan and medical claims?

Yes. It captures rejections across all payer types that appear in Eyefinity's claims section, including VSP, EyeMed, and medical carriers, and labels each row with the payer so the team can see the breakdown.

Put this on autopilot.
