How do I automatically track demurrage and detention risk across all my ocean freight containers?
WebRun checks Terminal49 every morning for containers approaching or past their last free day, estimates accruing demurrage and detention charges, and logs all at-risk containers to a Google Sheet. It then posts a ranked Slack digest showing critical containers first and the day's total charge exposure so your team can act before fees compound.
- At-risk containers are surfaced before 9 AM every day so your team can schedule pickups in time
- Total demurrage and detention exposure is visible in one Slack message without manual port lookups
- Historical risk register lets you see patterns by carrier or terminal and negotiate better free-time terms
Built for ocean freight importers · logistics operations managers · customs brokers · freight forwarders

WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it contact the carrier or terminal to dispute charges automatically?
No. WebRun only tracks and surfaces the risk. All carrier contact, dispute filings, or pickup scheduling are handled by your team after reviewing the digest.
How accurate are the estimated charge amounts?
Estimates are calculated from the per-diem rates you configure and the days elapsed past free time as reported by Terminal49. Actual invoiced amounts may vary by carrier contract terms.
What if a container is returned and the demurrage clock stops?
Terminal49 is checked live each morning. Containers with an empty-returned milestone are excluded from that day's risk register automatically.
