Turn KoboToolbox field submissions into a clean dataset

Every morning, WebRun opens KoboToolbox, reads every survey submission collected since the last run, logs each one as a structured record in Airtable, and once a week drafts a Gmail summary of submission counts and flagged responses for your project lead to review and send.

In short

How do I automatically organize KoboToolbox field submissions?

WebRun reads new KoboToolbox submissions every morning, logs each as a structured Airtable record, and once a week drafts a Gmail summary of submission counts and flagged responses for your project lead to review. Field data stays organized in near real time and no report reaches a stakeholder without a human reading it first.

  • Field submissions are logged as structured data the same morning
  • Flagged responses are visible in Airtable without manual review
  • Stakeholder summaries stay drafted and current, never sent unreviewed

Questions, answered

Will it email the project lead or funder without review?

No. WebRun only drafts the weekly summary in Gmail. A human reviews and sends it, WebRun never sends an email on its own.

Does it change any KoboToolbox form or submission?

No. It only reads submitted data. It never edits a form, a question, or a submitted answer in KoboToolbox.

What counts as a flagged submission?

Any submission with a missing required answer or a response already marked flagged in KoboToolbox, so nothing is judged beyond what the data itself shows.

Put this on autopilot.
