Does it assign the request itself?
No. WebRun suggests an owner from your routing rules and records it in Notion. Assigning the request inside Ironclad stays a human decision, and it never approves, signs, or sends a contract.
Does it contact the counterparty?
No. The only message it sends is an internal text to your own legal ops number about queue age. It emails no counterparty and no requester.
When does it escalate?
When a request passes the intake target you set, for example one working day. It names the counterparty, the type, and the days waiting, and repeats until the request has an owner.
