Every morning, WebRun signs in to greytHR, lists every leave request still sitting at pending, notes the employee, the dates, the leave balance and the manager it is waiting on, posts one nudge per manager in Microsoft Teams, and sends HR a Telegram summary of what is still stuck.

How do I chase managers who have not approved leave requests?
WebRun opens greytHR every morning, lists the leave requests still waiting on approval, and works out which manager is sitting on each one. It posts a single nudge per manager in Microsoft Teams and sends HR a Telegram summary, so employees get an answer and rosters can be planned.
- Managers get one message instead of a chase per employee
- Requests starting soon are escalated before the roster is set
- Approvals stay with managers, so WebRun never decides leave

1
greytHR - find pending leave requests
WebRun opens greytHR to find pending leave requests. - Sign in to greytHR and open the leave management section
- List every leave application still at pending, with the employee, the dates requested, the leave type, and the approving manager
- Note the employee's remaining leave balance and how many days the request has been waiting
- Read only. Never approve, reject, or cancel a leave request
Done when Every pending leave request is listed with its manager and waiting time.
-
2
Microsoft Teams - nudge each manager once
WebRun opens Microsoft Teams to nudge each manager once. - Post one message per manager in Teams listing every request waiting on them
- Show the employee, the dates, and how many days the request has been pending
- Put requests whose start date is closest at the top, and mention the manager so it reaches them
Done when Each manager has a single message covering all of their pending approvals.
-
3
Telegram - summarise for HR
WebRun opens Telegram to summarise for HR. - Send the HR channel a summary of how many requests are pending and with whom
- Flag requests that start within the next week and are still unapproved
- Name managers with a growing backlog so HR can escalate rather than chase
Done when HR knows the size of the backlog and where it is sitting.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it approve leave on a manager's behalf?
No. WebRun reads the pending list and nudges the manager. Approving, rejecting, or cancelling a request stays with the manager inside greytHR, so the decision and the record are theirs.
Does every manager get a separate message?
Yes, one per manager, covering all of their pending requests. That replaces a chase per employee, so a manager sees their whole queue in a single Teams message.
What happens once a request is approved?
It drops off the next morning's list. WebRun reads the live approval status on each run, so nobody is nudged about a request they already actioned.
