No, never. WebRun reads the balance and drafts a request. Moving money is always a person's action, so the top up is made by whoever holds the payment method.
Does it book anything?
No. It counts the bookings you have planned to estimate the draw, and never creates, changes or cancels one. The account is read only for this run.
How does it estimate what today will cost?
From the average daily spend over the last seven days on the account, adjusted for the number of bookings planned today and any vouchers available, so the figure reflects your actual pattern.
