Catch broken direct debit mandates before billing day
Every Monday, WebRun opens GoCardless, reviews every customer mandate for a cancelled, expired, or still-pending status, works out which upcoming charges those mandates were meant to collect, marks the affected billing dates in Google Calendar, and briefs finance in Microsoft Teams so broken mandates are fixed before the collection date.

How do I spot broken direct debit mandates before billing day?
WebRun reviews your GoCardless mandates every Monday for cancelled, expired, and stuck-pending statuses, then matches each to the upcoming payments it was meant to collect. It marks the affected billing dates in Google Calendar and briefs finance in Microsoft Teams, so mandates get fixed before collection day.
- Broken mandates are found days before the collection, not after it fails
- Every at-risk collection carries an advance calendar marker
- Finance sees the value at risk per customer, not just a status list
Built for finance teams · subscription businesses · membership organisations · billing operations

How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Can it take a payment or create a mandate?
No. WebRun only reads mandate and payment statuses in GoCardless. It never creates a mandate, submits a collection, retries a payment, or moves any money.
Will it email customers whose mandate broke?
No. The briefing goes to your internal Microsoft Teams channel and your own calendar. Asking a customer to re-authorise a mandate stays a human action you take yourself.
Why mark the calendar three days early?
Direct debit collections need advance notice to the bank, so a marker three working days ahead leaves time to fix a mandate before the collection date passes.
