Follow up on drawdown funding gaps before investment deadlines

Every morning, WebRun opens Carta and checks each open capital drawdown for LPs who have not yet wired their committed amount, logs each shortfall with the LP name, amount owed, and deadline to a Google Sheet, and posts a prioritized follow-up digest to Slack so the fund team can resolve funding gaps before the target investment closing is missed.

In short

How do I automatically track unfunded LP drawdown amounts before an investment deadline?

WebRun checks Carta every morning for unfunded LP amounts across all open capital drawdowns. Each shortfall is logged to a Google Sheet with the amount owed and funding deadline, and a prioritized Slack digest lists the most urgent gaps so the fund team can follow up and resolve shortfalls before any investment closing is missed. No LP is contacted without human action.

  • Every LP funding shortfall is surfaced each morning before the investment closing deadline
  • Shortfalls are logged to a live Google Sheet with amount and deadline for each drawdown
  • Fund team starts each day with a prioritized Slack list instead of manual Carta checks

Questions, answered

Will it contact unfunded LPs automatically?

No. WebRun only identifies shortfalls and surfaces them to your fund team via Slack and Google Sheets. Any LP follow-up call or email is initiated by your team after reviewing the digest.

What happens if a partial wire arrives during the day?

The next morning's run reads the current funded amount in Carta, so any wire received since the last check reduces the shortfall automatically. The Google Sheet is updated and only remaining gaps appear in the Slack digest.

Can it track drawdowns across multiple funds at once?

Yes. It checks every open drawdown across all funds in your Carta account and logs shortfalls per fund in the Google Sheet, so each fund's funding status is tracked in one consolidated view.
