In short

How do I automatically track margin per load from DAT?

WebRun opens DAT One every morning and pulls the previous day's completed loads, including buy rates, sell rates, and accessorials. It logs each load to Google Sheets, calculates gross margin and margin percentage per row, and flags loads below your target threshold so you can see exactly which lanes and carriers are driving profit.

  • Every load's margin visible in Google Sheets by 7:30 AM
  • Low-margin loads flagged automatically for review
  • Lane and carrier profitability trends visible week over week

Questions, answered

What rates does it use to calculate margin?

It reads the buy rate (carrier cost) and sell rate (customer charge) directly from DAT One for each completed load, then calculates gross margin and percentage in Google Sheets.

Can it flag loads below a target margin?

Yes. Set your minimum acceptable margin percentage in the sheet, and WebRun highlights any load that falls below that threshold so you can investigate the lane or carrier pricing.

Does it include accessorial charges?

It captures any accessorial charges recorded in DAT One and includes them in the margin calculation so the numbers reflect your true net on each load.
