How do I collect my bank statements automatically each month?
Every Monday WebRun signs in to Bank of America, checks each account and card for statements published since the last run, and files every new one under your naming convention. It sends the archive log on WhatsApp and texts you through Twilio when a statement has not appeared, so nothing is missing at close.
- Statements are in the right folder at close instead of fetched at year end
- Every file is named by account and period, so the archive sorts itself
- A statement that never published is flagged by text within days
Built for bookkeepers · small business owners · accountants · finance administrators
What does WebRun do on every run?
The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.
-

Opens
www.bankofamerica.comin a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys. -
1
Bank of America - file the new statements

- Find the statements published since the last run and skip anything already filed
- Save each new statement into the folder you nominate, named with the account and the statement period so it sorts correctly
Done when Every newly published statement is filed and named, with nothing duplicated.
-
2
WhatsApp - send the archive log

- Note which accounts are complete for the year to date and which have a gap
- Keep it internal. WebRun never moves money and never shares an account number

-
3
Twilio - text you about a missing statement
WebRun opens Twilio to text you about a missing statement. - Text you when a statement has not appeared several days after its usual publish date

- Send only to your own number. WebRun never contacts the bank on your behalf

How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Can it move money or pay anything?
No. WebRun only reads the documents area of your accounts. It never transfers funds, pays a bill, or changes a payee, and any such action would need you to do it yourself.
Where do the statements go?
Into the folder you nominate, named with the account and the statement period. Nothing is emailed out, uploaded, or shared with anyone else.
What if a statement was already filed?
It is skipped. WebRun matches on the account and period each run, so re-running never produces a second copy of the same statement.
