Every night, WebRun opens Naver Band, goes through each band you organise, collects the photos added to albums and posts that day along with their captions and who posted them, files everything into a dated Google Drive folder per album, and posts the count to Slack.

In short

How do I back up photos posted in a Naver Band group?

WebRun backs up your Naver Band photos every night. It goes through each band you organise, collects the photos added to albums and posts that day with their captions and posters, files them into a dated Google Drive folder per album, and posts the count to Slack, so nothing is lost when an album is tidied.

  • The season's photos live in a folder you own, not just in the app
  • Captions and posters are preserved next to every image
  • A deleted album no longer means lost photos

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens band.us in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

    • Skip photos already backed up on an earlier run

    • Create or open the folder for the band and the album
    • Save each photo under a name carrying the album and the date
    • Write the captions and posters into an index file beside the photos
    • Never delete or overwrite anything already in the folder

Done when Tonight's photos and captions are filed in Drive.

  4. 3
Slack - post the nightly count
    slack.com How to Automate Slack
WebRun in Slack: post the nightly count

    • Post how many photos were backed up tonight and from which albums

Done when The organisers know tonight's backup ran and what it captured.

Questions, answered

Does it post or delete anything in the band?

No. WebRun only reads. It never posts, comments, or removes a photo, and nothing in Band changes because the backup ran.

What happens if a member deletes an album later?

Your Drive copy stays. WebRun never deletes or overwrites what it has already filed, so a tidy up in Band does not take the season's photos with it.

Are captions kept as well as the images?

Yes. Each night's index file records the caption, the poster and the date next to every photo, so the context survives alongside the image.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
