Reorder paint and materials before you run out

Every morning, WebRun opens the supply inventory log in Google Sheets, identifies any paint, primer, or consumable item below its reorder threshold, drafts a purchase order email to the supplier in Gmail, and posts a low-stock alert to Slack so the shop manager can review and send the order before the floor runs short.

In short

How do I automatically reorder body shop paint and supplies when stock is low?

WebRun checks your supply inventory log in Google Sheets every morning and flags any paint, primer, or consumable below its reorder threshold. It drafts a reorder email to the appropriate supplier in Gmail and posts a low-stock alert to Slack, so your manager can approve the order before the shop floor runs short.

  • Low-stock supplies are flagged and a reorder draft is ready before the floor notices a shortage
  • Supplier emails are pre-written and consolidated per supplier to save ordering time
  • No supply order is placed without a manager reviewing the draft first

Questions, answered

Will it place orders with suppliers automatically?

No. WebRun drafts the reorder email in Gmail and posts a Slack alert, but nothing is sent until your shop manager reviews and approves the draft. You stay in full control of every purchase before it is committed.

How do reorder thresholds get set for each supply item?

You set the reorder threshold for each item directly in the Google Sheets inventory log during setup. WebRun reads that threshold on every morning run and flags anything at or below it.

Can it handle supplies from multiple different suppliers?

Yes. WebRun groups flagged items by supplier and drafts a single consolidated email per supplier in Gmail, so one supplier gets one email covering everything they need to ship rather than multiple fragmented requests.
