Check your portfolio still works before you send the link

Every Monday, WebRun opens your Adobe Portfolio site the way a client would, loads every page and project, follows each outbound project link, confirms the custom domain resolves and the contact form loads, records every result in Airtable, and opens a Trello card for anything that is broken.

In short

How do I check my portfolio site still works before sending it to a client?

Every Monday, WebRun opens your Adobe Portfolio site the way a client would, loads every page and project, follows each outbound project link, and confirms the custom domain resolves and the contact form loads. It records the result of each check in Airtable and opens a Trello card for anything broken.

  • The link in every pitch email opens a site that was checked this week
  • Broken project links are found by you rather than by a prospective client
  • A contact form that stopped rendering is caught before enquiries go missing

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens portfolio.adobe.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Adobe Portfolio - load every page and link
    portfolio.adobe.com
WebRun in Adobe Portfolio: load every page and link
WebRun opens Adobe Portfolio to load every page and link.
    • Open your published portfolio at its live address, not the editor
    • Load every page in the navigation and every project page, noting any that fail to load or come back empty
    • Follow each outbound link on the project pages and record the ones that no longer resolve
    • Check the custom domain serves the site and that images on each project actually render
    • Open the contact page and confirm the form renders with all of its fields. Do not submit it
    • Note the page load result rather than editing anything. WebRun never changes your site

Done when Every page, project, and outbound link has a pass or fail result, and the domain and contact form are checked.

  3. 2
Airtable - record each check result
    airtable.com How to Automate Airtable
WebRun in Airtable: record each check result
WebRun opens Airtable to record each check result.
    • Open the site check base and write this week's result for every page and link
    • Mark each row pass or fail, with the reason on the failures
    • Keep the history so a link that has been broken for three weeks is obvious
    • Record the date the custom domain and contact form were last confirmed working

Done when The base holds a dated pass or fail row for every page, project, and link checked.

  4. 3
Trello - open a card for what broke
    trello.com How to Automate Trello
WebRun in Trello: open a card for what broke
WebRun opens Trello to open a card for what broke.
    • Create a card on your website board for each failure found this week
    • Put the page, the specific link or image, and what went wrong in the description
    • Set anything touching the contact form or the custom domain to top priority, since those cost you enquiries
    • Close cards automatically once the check passes again on a later run

Done when Every broken page, link, or image has a card, and fixed ones are closed.

Questions, answered

Will it submit my contact form?

No, not on its own. WebRun confirms the contact page loads and the form renders with its fields. A live test submission only happens on a run where you approve it, so your inbox does not fill with test enquiries.

Will it edit or republish my portfolio?

No. WebRun views the published site as a visitor would and never opens the editor, changes a project, or republishes anything. Fixes are yours to make from the Trello card.

What does it check on the custom domain?

That your custom domain serves the portfolio and that pages load from it, so the address printed on your business card is the one confirmed working, not just the default one.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
