How far back does the sales ranking look?
It uses a rolling 30 day window by default, so the ranking always reflects recent demand rather than a one time spike. The window is configurable at setup.
What counts as idle stock?
Any product with zero or near zero units sold across the 30 day window, still holding on hand quantity. It is flagged with the cash value tied up so you can prioritize which items to discount.
Will it discount or remove idle items for me?
No. It only reports which items are idle and what they are worth. Any price change, promotion, or clearance decision is yours to make in Zoho POS.
