Questions, answered
Does it invest the cash or move any money?
No. WebRun only flags accounts for your advisor to review. It reads cash balances in Addepar and surfaces accounts holding more than target. Investing the cash or moving money stays with a licensed advisor and the custodian.
How does it decide an account holds too much cash?
It reads each account's cash and liquidity figures in Addepar and compares them against the threshold you set, in dollars or as a percentage of the portfolio, then flags anything above it for review.
Can I set my own cash threshold?
Yes. Tell WebRun your limit, for example more than five percent in cash or above a fixed dollar amount, and it flags only accounts that exceed it, keeping the shortlist focused on balances worth a second look.
