Questions, answered

Will it automatically retry the payment or charge the customer's card?

No. WebRun drafts the recovery notice and flags the account but never initiates a charge. Card retry is handled by Stripe's built-in retry schedule, which your team can review before any further action.

What if the customer updates their card before the draft is sent?

WebRun checks the live status in Stripe each morning, so accounts where the payment subsequently succeeded are skipped and not included in that day's alert.

Can it handle both card failures and ACH or bank transfer failures?

Yes. It reads all payment failure types visible in Trash Flow and Stripe, including card declines and ACH returns, so every failed autopay is captured.
