Give every driver a complete route restock digest each morning

Every morning, WebRun opens Cantaloupe Seed Pro, reads each driver's scheduled route stops, pulls the current inventory and recent sales velocity for every machine on that route, and writes a per-driver restock digest to Google Sheets so dispatchers and drivers can review the full plan before trucks leave.

In short

How do I automatically generate a vending route restock plan for each driver?

WebRun opens Cantaloupe Seed Pro every morning, reads each driver's route stops, pulls current inventory and sales velocity for every machine, and writes a per-driver restock digest to Google Sheets. Dispatchers and drivers see recommended fill quantities before trucks leave the warehouse, eliminating guesswork on the road.

  • Drivers leave the warehouse with a precise fill list every morning
  • Dispatchers have a full route picture in Google Sheets without manual data pulls
  • Over-stocking and wasted trips are reduced by using sales velocity data

Questions, answered

What if a driver's route changes after the digest is written?

The digest reflects the route schedule in Cantaloupe at the time of the run. If routes change after 5:30 AM, a dispatcher can re-trigger WebRun manually to regenerate the sheet.

Can it handle multiple warehouses or depots?

Yes. Configure WebRun to filter by location or depot in Cantaloupe and write separate sheet tabs for each, so each warehouse sees only its own routes.

Does it send any automated messages to drivers or locations?

No. The digest is written to a shared Google Sheet for dispatchers and drivers to access. No messages are sent to machine locations or external parties.
