In short

How do I track and manage urology prior authorizations so none expire unnoticed?

WebRun reviews every open urology prior authorization in AdvancedMD each morning, flags cases expiring within seven days or stalled beyond five business days, and updates a Google Sheets tracker with current status. A Slack alert names the top cases needing same-day staff action, so no procedure is ever delayed by a lapsed approval.

  • No prior authorization lapses unnoticed before a scheduled procedure
  • Staff start each day with a ranked list of cases needing same-day payer follow-up
  • A live Google Sheet gives management a real-time view of authorization status

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it submit prior authorization requests to payers automatically?

No. WebRun tracks and surfaces the status of existing authorizations; it does not submit, appeal, or contact payers on its own. All payer communications remain under staff control.

How far in advance does it flag expiring authorizations?

It flags any authorization expiring within seven calendar days by default. You can adjust the threshold in your WebRun settings before the first run.

What counts as a stalled authorization?

Any authorization submitted more than five business days ago with no payer status update is flagged as stalled, so staff know to follow up with the payer before the case falls off the radar.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
