In short

How do I get a daily shortlist of new jobs worth applying to?

WebRun runs your Ladders saved searches every morning, keeping only roles posted since yesterday that match your titles and salary range, and dropping anything you already applied to. It logs the shortlist in Microsoft Teams and sends you a handful of genuinely new roles on WhatsApp to apply to.

  • Applications go in the day a role is posted, not a week later
  • Roles you already applied to never appear twice
  • A quiet morning is reported as quiet instead of padded

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens www.theladders.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1

    • Check each against your target job titles, salary range, and locations
    • Read your application history and drop any role you have already applied to
    • Do not apply to anything. WebRun shortlists, you apply

Done when Only genuinely new, matching, not yet applied roles remain on the list.

  4. 3
WhatsApp - send this morning's shortlist
    whatsapp.com How to Automate WhatsApp
WebRun in WhatsApp: send this morning's shortlist
WebRun opens WhatsApp to send this morning's shortlist.
    • Send yourself the shortlist, strongest match first
    • Give each role one line: title, company, salary range, and why it matched your search
    • Cap it at a handful so the list is worked rather than skimmed
    • Say when a morning brings nothing new, rather than padding the list

Done when You have today's shortlist on WhatsApp, ready to apply from.

Questions, answered

Will it apply to jobs for me?

No. WebRun never submits an application, uploads a resume, or messages a recruiter. It produces the shortlist and you decide what to apply to and what to say.

How does it avoid showing me the same role twice?

It reads your application history and the running log in Teams, so anything already applied to or shortlisted on a previous morning is dropped before the WhatsApp message is written.

What if nothing new matches today?

It says so. An empty morning is reported as empty rather than padded with older or weaker matches, so the list stays worth reading every day.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
