Questions, answered
Will it adjust any QuickBooks records or IRS accounts automatically?
No. WebRun only reads from both systems and writes the comparison to Google Sheets. Any correction to payment records or IRS accounts is made by your accounting team after reviewing the digest.
How does it know what each client should be paying?
It reads the installment schedule recorded in each Canopy case. Keeping the payment schedule current in Canopy is key to accurate reconciliation.
What if a client made a direct payment to the IRS that is not in QuickBooks?
A discrepancy will be flagged because the IRS transcript balance will reflect the payment but QuickBooks will not. Your team can investigate and update QuickBooks accordingly.
