In short

How do I get a daily log of weld inspection results matched to the job and piece mark?

WebRun pulls every visual and NDT weld inspection logged in Fieldwire each night, matches each result to its job and piece mark in Tekla PowerFab, and flags any failed weld as a shipping hold. It then posts a Teams digest to your QC channel listing every fail, repair, and still-outstanding inspection, so nothing failed leaves the shop unnoticed.

  • Failed welds are flagged as a shipping hold the same night they're inspected
  • QC gets one daily digest instead of chasing paper inspection forms
  • Every result is tied to its job and piece mark automatically

Questions, answered

Does it release a held piece mark once the repair is done?

No. WebRun only flags the hold from the failed inspection. A CWI or your QC manager still has to log the re-inspection and clear the hold themselves before it ships.

Can it tell the difference between visual and NDT results?

Yes. It reads the inspection type logged in Fieldwire for each entry, so the Teams digest shows whether a fail came from a visual check, UT, or MT.

What if a weld is inspected but never logged in Fieldwire?

It only reports what's logged. Anything inspected off the books won't appear in the digest, so the log is only as complete as what your inspectors enter that day.
