Clear slow-moving notebook lines before they tie up cash

Every Monday, WebRun opens MicroBiz, finds notebook and journal lines with weeks of stock and few sales in the last 60 days, builds a clearance and suggested markdown list in Google Sheets ranked by how much cash is tied up, and messages you on Telegram to review before anything changes in the store.

In short

How do I clear slow-moving notebook stock before it ties up more cash?

WebRun checks MicroBiz every Monday for notebook and journal SKUs sitting more than 60 days with fewer than 2 sales in that time, ranks them in Google Sheets by how much cash is tied up, and messages you on Telegram with a suggested markdown for each. You decide which markdowns to apply, nothing changes in MicroBiz on its own.

  • Cash tied up in slow notebooks gets flagged every Monday
  • Markdown suggestions are ranked so the biggest ties get cleared first
  • Nothing is marked down in MicroBiz without your say so

Questions, answered

Will WebRun mark down prices in MicroBiz on its own?

No. It only suggests a markdown percentage for each slow SKU. You choose which ones to apply and change the price yourself in MicroBiz.

How does it decide what counts as slow?

It flags notebook and journal SKUs with more than 60 days of stock on hand and fewer than 2 units sold in the last 60 days, then ranks them by how much cash is tied up at cost.

Will it flag a brand new line that just has not sold yet?

It only looks at stock older than 60 days, so a line you just brought in will not show up as slow before it has had a fair chance to sell.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
