In short

How do I automatically reconcile my RICS Software end-of-day sales each evening?

WebRun opens RICS Software every evening, pulls the day's payment totals by tender type (cash, card, gift card, store credit), compares them to expected figures, posts a reconciliation digest to Slack with variances flagged, and logs the totals to QuickBooks for your accountant. No adjustments are made without human review.

  • Cash variances are spotted every evening before the till is locked
  • Tender totals land in QuickBooks without manual data entry
  • Management sees the full reconciliation digest in Slack before leaving the building

Questions, answered

Does it adjust any financial records automatically?

No. WebRun logs the daily totals to QuickBooks as a reference entry and flags variances for review. Your accountant or manager makes any adjusting entries.

What counts as a variance worth flagging?

You set the threshold. By default it flags any cash difference of more than a few dollars, but you can raise or lower that to match your store's tolerance.

What if the RICS report is not ready yet when the run starts?

WebRun waits for the end-of-day report to be available in RICS before pulling data. If the report is not ready, it retries and notifies you in Slack rather than posting incomplete figures.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
