Questions, answered

Does it rely on staff logging wastage accurately?

Yes. WebRun totals and costs whatever wastage entries are already logged in Restroworks. It does not observe the kitchen itself, so the summary is only as complete as what staff record at the time.

How is the cost value calculated?

It uses the ingredient cost already set in Restroworks recipe costing, so a wasted portion is valued the same way it would be costed into a dish, not an estimated guess.

Does it single out one outlet unfairly?

No. Every outlet is measured the same way, by cost and reason, and the ranking simply reflects whichever outlet logged the most wastage that day. A quiet night for one outlet naturally moves it down the list.
