Turn Quip checklists into a tracked backlog

Every Monday, WebRun opens shared Quip docs, collects every open checklist item across them, logs each one to an Airtable tracker with its doc and owner, and emails each doc owner a completion summary so checklist items inside a doc don't disappear once the meeting that created them is over.

In short

How do I track checklist items across multiple Quip docs?

WebRun scans your shared Quip docs every Monday for open checklist items, logs each one to an Airtable tracker with its doc and owner, and emails every doc owner a completion summary, so action items written inside a document during a meeting get tracked to done instead of getting lost once the doc goes quiet.

  • Checklist items inside docs stay visible after the meeting ends
  • Every doc owner gets their own completion summary weekly
  • One tracker shows every open item across every doc

Questions, answered

Does WebRun check off items in Quip?

No. It only reads the current checked or unchecked state. Checking an item off is left to whoever owns the task in Quip.

Who gets the completion summary email?

Only the internal owner of each doc. It never emails anyone outside your team or organization.

What if a checklist item is deleted from the doc?

The next run no longer finds it in Quip, so it's marked removed in the tracker instead of staying listed as open.

Put this on autopilot.
