In short

How do I get the grading and packing summary to sales before the trucks leave?

Every night, WebRun pulls the day's packed case counts from PoultryPlan and breaks them down by grade and size: jumbo, grade A, grade B, and cracks. It logs the breakdown and week-to-date totals to Airtable, then posts a packing summary to your Slack sales channel, so the team can quote tomorrow's orders before the trucks leave in the morning.

  • Sales can quote tomorrow's orders from Slack instead of calling the packing floor
  • A cracks or grade B spike is caught the same night, not on a weekly rollup
  • Week-to-date grade totals stay current in Airtable without manual entry

Questions, answered

Does sales need to open PoultryPlan to see what's available?

No. The Slack summary already has tonight's grade and size breakdown and total cases available, so sales can quote tomorrow's orders straight from Slack.

How is a cracks or grade B spike flagged?

It compares tonight's percent of cracks and grade B against your normal range and calls it out in both Airtable and Slack when it runs above that range.

Does it change how eggs are graded?

No. It only reads the grading result already recorded in PoultryPlan and reports it. Grading itself still happens on your line.
