In short

How can a pharmacy automatically track and prioritize insurance claim rejections for billing staff each morning?

WebRun checks Liberty Software every morning for insurance claim rejections from the prior day, groups each by rejection code and estimated revenue impact, logs the full list to Google Sheets, and posts a prioritized Slack digest so billing staff rework the highest-value claims before they age out.

  • High-value rejections are surfaced the morning they occur, not discovered during a month-end audit
  • Billing staff work from a prioritized list instead of digging through adjudication reports manually
  • Revenue leakage from unworked rejections is reduced with daily visibility

Questions, answered

Does it automatically resubmit rejected claims?

No. WebRun builds and surfaces the worklist. All claim rework and resubmission is done by your billing staff in Liberty Software, who use the prioritized Slack digest to decide which claims to action first.

How are rejection codes categorized in the worklist?

WebRun groups codes into common categories: coverage issues, eligibility, prior auth required, NDC not covered, quantity limit exceeded, and other. This lets billing staff address an entire category at once rather than working through codes one by one.

What happens to claims that are not resolved within a few days?

The Google Sheet aging tracker shows the date each rejection was logged, so your billing team can see exactly which claims are going stale. High-dollar claims aging past a configurable threshold will continue to appear in the daily Slack digest until marked resolved.
