Keep every central fabrication order on track from submit to receipt

Every morning, WebRun opens OPIE Software, reviews all open central fabrication orders in the purchasing module, flags any order approaching its expected delivery date without a status update or confirmation, and posts a digest to Slack so your team can follow up with the central fab lab before a patient appointment is put at risk.

In short

How do I automatically track central fabrication lab orders in OPIE Software?

WebRun reviews OPIE Software every morning for open central fabrication orders, flags any due within 5 business days without a recent status update, and posts a digest to Slack so your team can contact the lab before a late delivery disrupts a patient fitting appointment. All open orders are summarized so the practice always has a live view of the central fab pipeline.

  • At-risk central fab orders are surfaced before the delivery window closes
  • Your team follows up with the lab proactively instead of discovering a late order on the fitting day
  • A daily summary gives practice managers a live count of all open and on-track fab orders

Questions, answered

Will it contact the fabrication lab automatically to chase an order?

No. WebRun posts the at-risk orders to Slack for your team to follow up. Any communication with the central fab lab requires a staff member to make the call or send the message.

How does it know whether an order is at risk of being late?

It compares each order's expected delivery date in OPIE with the current date and flags any order arriving within 5 business days that has not had a status update in the past 3 days. Both thresholds can be adjusted.

What if an order arrives early and is already in the clinic?

Once the order is marked as received in OPIE, it will no longer appear on the digest. The list always reflects the live status of open orders in OPIE at the time of the run.

Put this on autopilot.
