Follow up on open lumber quotes before contractors go elsewhere
Every morning, WebRun opens DMSi Agility and finds all quotes that have been open for more than three days with no order placed. For each one it drafts a professional follow-up email in Gmail addressed to the contractor, saves it unsent for the rep to review, and posts a Slack summary of open quotes by rep so the whole team knows what needs attention today.

How do I automatically follow up on open quotes in DMSi Agility before they expire?
WebRun checks DMSi Agility every morning for quotes open more than three days with no linked order. For each one it drafts a professional follow-up email in Gmail for the assigned rep to review and send, then posts a Slack summary of stale quotes grouped by rep with expiry flags, so no contractor goes cold without a timely human follow-up.
- No open quote goes more than three days without a rep follow-up drafted and ready to send
- Quotes expiring within 48 hours are flagged so reps prioritize the most time-sensitive opportunities
- Reps spend time selling rather than manually scanning the quote list each morning

Questions, answered
Will it send follow-up emails to contractors automatically?
No. Every follow-up email is saved as a draft in Gmail for the assigned rep to review, personalize, and send. No email reaches a contractor without the rep's explicit approval.
What if a quote was already verbally accepted and an order is coming?
Once a sales order is linked to the quote in DMSi Agility, the quote drops off the open list and no follow-up draft is created. Reps can also mark a quote as pending in Agility to suppress the alert.
Can it adjust the follow-up trigger from three days to a different window?
Yes. The number of days before a follow-up is drafted is configurable during setup. You can set it to two, three, five, or seven days depending on your typical quote-to-order cycle.
