Does it copy the full documents out of LexisNexis?
No. It posts the citation, the source, a short summary in plain language, and the link back into LexisNexis, so the licensed document stays where your subscription allows it.
How does it know which matter a result belongs to?
It uses the saved search or alert folder the result came from. Name each alert after its matter once and every hit routes to that matter's Teams channel from then on.
