In short

How do I automatically track and reorder HVAC truck stock when it runs low?

WebRun opens FieldEdge every Monday, checks all truck stock and parts against your reorder thresholds, and logs every low-stock item to a Google Sheet with a Pending Approval status. Your manager gets a Slack alert with the reorder list link so they can review and approve each line before any order is placed.

  • Low-stock parts are flagged every Monday before technicians hit the road
  • Every reorder requires manager approval before any order is submitted
  • Out-of-stock critical parts are highlighted at the top of every alert

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will it place purchase orders automatically?

No. WebRun logs low-stock items to a Google Sheet and marks them as Pending Approval. No order is placed or submitted until your manager reviews and approves each line.

How does it know what the reorder threshold is for each part?

It reads the reorder threshold you have set in FieldEdge for each part. If a threshold is not set, the item is flagged in the Slack alert so you can add one.

What if stock levels change during the week?

The run reflects the quantities in FieldEdge at the time it checks each Monday morning. If you want more frequent checks, you can configure WebRun to run daily instead.
