In short

How do I get a daily ranked denial worklist from Waystar?

Every morning, WebRun opens Waystar, pulls every denial still open, and ranks the list by appeal deadline and dollar amount. It posts a Slack brief to the denial management channel with total dollars at risk and the top 10 claims to work first, so the team starts each shift with a ready made worklist instead of pulling their own report.

  • The team opens Slack to a ranked worklist instead of building one manually each morning
  • Claims closest to their appeal deadline are always at the top of the list
  • Total dollars at risk are visible at a glance before the shift even starts

Questions, answered

Does it decide who on the team works which claim?

No. It ranks the open queue by deadline and dollar amount so priority is clear, but assigning specific claims to specific team members stays a decision for your supervisor.

How is the top 10 list chosen?

By deadline first, so claims closest to expiring lead the list, then by billed amount, so among similar deadlines the largest dollar claims surface first.

What counts as still open?

Any denial in Waystar not yet marked appealed, corrected, resubmitted, or written off. Once a claim's status changes, it drops off the next morning's brief automatically.

Put this on autopilot.
