In short

How do I get delivery route manifests built and sent to drivers automatically?

Every morning before dispatch, WebRun opens Silo and pulls today's confirmed orders and assigned loads, building a route manifest per truck in Google Sheets with stop order, customer, and case counts. It texts each driver their stop list and load details through Twilio, so every truck leaves with a manifest already in hand.

  • Every truck leaves with a manifest already texted to the driver
  • Held orders never make it onto a route by mistake
  • Dispatch stops building manifests by hand before every shift

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens usesilo.com in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1
Silo - pull today's confirmed orders and loads
    • Open Silo and pull every order confirmed for today's delivery, grouped by assigned truck or route
    • Capture the customer, address, stop order, case count, and any special handling note for each order
    • Flag any order still on quality hold so it's excluded from the load

Done when Every confirmed order for today is grouped by truck with its stop details.

  3. 2
Google Sheets - build the route manifest per truck
google.com How to Automate Google Sheets
WebRun in Google Sheets: build the route manifest per truck
WebRun opens Google Sheets to build the route manifest per truck.
    • Open the route manifest template
    • Add one row per stop with customer, address, case count, and stop order for each truck's route
    • Total the case count and stop count per truck at the top of its sheet

Done when A complete route manifest exists for every truck going out today.

  4. 3
Twilio - text each driver their stop list
    twilio.com How to Automate Twilio
WebRun in Twilio: text each driver their stop list
WebRun opens Twilio to text each driver their stop list.
    • Send each driver an SMS with their stop count, first stop, and a link to their full manifest
    • Note any special handling flagged for a stop, such as a liftgate or an early delivery window

Done when Every driver has been texted their manifest before the truck is loaded.

Questions, answered

Does it text customers about their delivery window?

No. The SMS goes only to your own drivers with their route manifest. WebRun does not message customers about delivery timing on its own.

What happens to an order on quality hold?

It's excluded from the manifest and the driver's load automatically. A held order only appears on a route once it's released in Silo.

Can drivers see the manifest without a Google account?

The SMS itself carries the stop count, first stop, and any special handling note, so a driver has what they need without opening the sheet. The link is there if they want the full detail.
