Flag anomalous transactions overnight
Every night, WebRun opens the matter's CaseWare IDEA project, runs the standing exception tests, such as duplicate payments, round-dollar amounts, and Benford's Law outliers, against the day's transaction data, logs every flagged item to a Google Sheet with the test that caught it, and pings you on Telegram when a high-risk anomaly needs a closer look.

How do I automatically flag anomalous transactions for forensic review?
Every night, WebRun runs CaseWare IDEA's standing exception tests, duplicate detection, round-dollar checks, and Benford's Law analysis, against the day's transaction data. It logs every flagged item to a Google Sheet with the test that caught it and its risk score, then pings you on Telegram the moment anything scores as high-risk, so no anomaly waits until the morning review.
- High-risk anomalies get a Telegram alert the same night, not weeks into review
- Every flagged transaction is logged with its test and score for the case file
- Round-dollar, duplicate, and Benford's Law outliers surface automatically from full-population testing
Built for forensic accountants · fraud examiners · internal audit teams · financial investigators

Questions, answered
Does it accuse anyone of fraud?
No. WebRun only reports statistical anomalies, such as duplicate payments or Benford's Law outliers, for a human to investigate. A flagged transaction is a starting point for review, not a conclusion.
What counts as high-risk?
A transaction that trips multiple exception tests at once, or sits far outside the expected pattern for its test, such as an extreme Benford's Law deviation. Those get an immediate Telegram alert instead of waiting for the morning review.
Will it re-flag the same transaction every night?
No. It carries forward yesterday's unresolved flags but does not duplicate an alert for one already logged, so the list only grows with genuinely new exceptions.
