Questions, answered
Will it send cancellation texts to students automatically?
No. WebRun drafts and queues every SMS in Twilio and posts a Slack alert listing all affected students, but no message is sent until a staff member reviews the queue and approves. Students are never notified without human sign-off.
How does WebRun know which lessons to cancel?
Staff trigger the run manually or flag the day in the Google Sheets tracker. WebRun then reads the day's schedule, identifies all booked lessons, and generates a draft notice for each. You decide which students are actually affected.
Can it include rebooking options in the message?
Yes. If staff paste available alternative times into the trigger notes before approving the run, WebRun includes those options in each student's draft SMS so they can pick a new slot right away.
