Questions, answered
Does WebRun initiate the actual distribution from the account?
No. WebRun only tracks and alerts. All distributions are initiated by the advisor or client through the custodian. WebRun never touches account funds or submits withdrawal requests.
How accurate is the RMD calculation?
WebRun reads the RMD estimate already calculated in RightCapital, which advisors have set up. It does not recalculate; it flags clients where the plan shows a distribution obligation that has not yet been recorded as satisfied.
What if a client completed their RMD outside of RightCapital?
Advisors should update the distribution status in RightCapital after it occurs. WebRun reads the live data each Monday, so once the record is updated, that client is removed from the alert list automatically.
